MAICOPRESSE S.p.A. is a dynamic company who constantly pays attention to market demands and to the development of advanced technologies in order to offer cold chamber die-casting machines for aluminium, brass, copper and magnesium able to solve the most challenging problems of foundry field. It was established in 1975 with the aim of manufacturing die-casting machines and thanks to the fruitful and steady cooperation with its customers and to the efforts of its own R& D department has always been able to improve machines technologically. The quality of its products and its fast and efficient after-sale service are the keys of its growing success in the market.
MAICOPRESSE is now well-known with its lines of die-casting machines GK and GKL. These two series distinguish themselves thanks to their truly innovative patented system of external toggle which enable to reach very long strokes. Opening-clamping speed is faster than that of ordinary machines and overall dimensions get smaller. All the lines are characterized by a peculiar toggle head guided on all four tie bars, which guarantees more stiffness to the whole clamping unit. GKL series presents moreover mobile platen strokes much longer if compared to those of ordinary machines and it is therefore suitable to produce casts with extended dimensions such as electric motor bodies, rotors, filter bodies, etc.
MAICOPRESSE has also developed GK and GKL HYBRID die-casting machines which enable to save up to 60% energy and reduce the use of cooling water up to 90% using much less hydraulic fluid.
Movement overlapping combined with great movement precision shorten cycle times and increase production.
This “green” revolution focuses on machine management and operation and aims to a better use of available resources to lower any environmental impact.
1985 is the establishment year of the associated company IROBI S.r.l. They are specialized in the production of die sprayer, metal ladles, cast ejector robots, integration for 6-axes robots and automation systems.
MAICOPRESSE and IROBI can therefore be global partners for the supply of “turn key” fully automatized working stations for die-casting.
